I was born and raised in Hong Kong and recently moved to Vancouver to start a new chapter in my life. My journey into coding began with a public exam assignment that ignited my passion for problem-solving. I crafted a Sudoku solver that earned me an 'A' grade, and from that moment on, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in technology. This newfound enthusiasm led me to study computer engineering, where I explored the fundamentals of software, computer systems, and algorithms. During my placement year, I gained hands-on experience as an intern mobile app developer, which laid the foundation for my career.

After graduating, I started my career as an iOS app developer. The ability to bring ideas to life and create tangible products from scratch was incredibly fulfilling. I found great satisfaction in building solutions that made a difference. Following a year-long working holiday in New Zealand, where I broadened my perspectives and enriched my experiences, I returned to work as a Full-stack Developer. This role allowed me to further hone my skills and work on diverse projects, enhancing my expertise in both mobile and web development.

Fun Fact: I worked at a ski field in New Zealand.

Over the years, I’ve collaborated with various agencies and prominent brands, each experience contributing significantly to my growth as a developer. When I’m not immersed in code, I enjoy exploring the world around me through travel. During the winter months, you can often find me carving through the snow on the slopes, enjoying the thrill of snowboarding.
